What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a technique that uses muscle testing to discover imbalances in the body. Muscle testing is a core tool within this practice; it is the ability to hold a muscle against a light pressure, testing a series of muscles which highlights areas to focus on. The original creation of Applied Kinesiology was created by Dr. George Goodheart, a chiropractor, in 1964.
Using this muscle testing technique, it is possible to quickly identify what is involved in any imbalance, i.e. nutritional deficiencies, food sensitivities/allergies, emotional upsets, musculoskeletal problems, etc. It also involves biomarkers which are test vials of substances such as enzymes, foods, hormones, toxins, E-numbers, parasites, fungus, vitamins and minerals etc. Biomarkers can indicate where there is a problem, and allow you to understand what supplements are needed and whether there is a need to avoid certain foods. |
